Assault and Battery

Let’s talk about Assault and Battery. Assault and Battery generally describes an offense where it’s alleged there was a physical encounter between two individuals, whether it’s a domestic incident between individuals that had a relationship, whether it’s a bar fight, whether it’s just some fortuitous encounter between two individuals. What we are talking about is, people getting physical between one and another and a criminal offence arising out of that conduct.
