Restrainaing Order

Restraining Order

Often times people consult me regarding restraining orders. Restraining order is a order from the court or issued to be a minisable court that prevents one person from making contact with the other. Typically, this arises out of some relationship that the parties it had in the past and one party reveals that they are being threatened where there is a risk of harm. They petition the court and they give what is called the temporary restraining order. The court then sets it down for final hearing to determine whether a final restraining order is going to be issued.
